Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice HOT bat with HORRIBLE durability I bought a Miken Freak Dirty Money at the beginning of the season (same as this bat just different graphics) and ended up needing to warranty that bat, Miken replaced it with this bat (the KP23). Absolutely loved the feel of both bats and they both had good exit velo with a very forgiving barrel. However, BOTH bats didn't even make it a month through the season. BOTH started having a clack/rattle sound after only a couple of hits and BOTH developed a wiggle/barrel separating from the handle. BOTH barely got over ~150 swings before they just didn't feel right (an umpire actually disqualified the KP23 cause it sounded that bad). Ended up having to warranty the first bat AND the second one and I am now waiting on that warranty case to be evaluated. Extremely disappointed as both bats failed in the same way. In addition to this a couple of team members also bought Mikens because they liked the feel. BOTH guys also had their bats fail in a similar fashion with one of them having the bat actually snap in 2 pieces after like 5 hits. There were a total of 4-5 bats that all failed with super low swings. I will not recommend a Miken to anyone else ever again and will likely never buy another one again. Miken stood behind all of the bats and warrantied them which is extremely nice but it is very annoying to buy a $300 bat just for it to break early on in the season and then have to wait half the season to even get a good bat back. My experience along with several other teammates solidifies that Miken's are hot bats but absolutely DO NOT last what so ever and have HORRIBLE durability/quality control.
